This website is divided into 6 main sections, which can be used in the classroom:
- Arrival of the Anglo-Saxons including information on who they were, where they came from and when they arrived.
- Anglo-Saxon Life including information on clothes, food and drink, housing and daily life.
- Anglo-Saxon Death including information on what they did with their dead and beliefs.
- (Note each of these sections finish with a knowledge review)
- Anglo-Saxon Kings and Kingdoms.
- Archaeology with Edward Thurlow Leeds explores what is archaeology and the life of a prominant 20th century archaeologist, including information on Anglo-Saxon Oxfordshire.
- Meet the Vikings including information on when the Vikings arrived in Britain, where they came from, who they where, Viking life and death, and their relationship with the Anglo-Saxons.
- Virtual Gallery including images of the Anglo-Saxon gallery in the Ashmolean Museum prior to closure for re-development.
